Or maybe you want to show off your skills at the cabin this summer and make fly fishing a new shared experience with loved ones. Whatever it is, the way you begin is starting from ground zero.
Join Scott as he introduces you to casting, rigging, knots and teaching the basic foundational techniques both on the grass and ankle deep in one of our local Minnesota lakes.

Take a deep dive into the world of fly fishing, gaining insights into its culture and techniques. You’ll learn equipment usage, stream craft, fly tying, casting, and packing essentials for trips. Scott will be your very own guide as you spend the day learning and sharing as you go!
This trip is best suited for groups of up to eight people and for folks wishing to enjoy a little more convenience throughout the day. Fishing Spot has a pavilion, picnic area, and bathroom steps from the river where you’ll be fishing.
